Kirsten Bose presents Gender Studies and Findings in Family Planning programs

Ms. Kirsten Bose, Project Director HC3 is now visiting Bangladesh. On Monday in Dhaka she made a presentation before an audience focusing on gender studies and their analysis in family planning programs citing examples of family planning programs in various countries in Africa and Asia. Her lucid presentation generated lively discussion from enthusiastic participation to prompt healthy debatable issues on gender perspective in various settings in context of family planning on the table. Invitation to Watch the FP-MCH Reality Show produced by IEM/DGFP

Information, Education and Motivation (IEM) Unit of Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP) is observing 2nd FP-MCH Service and Media Campaign Week 2014 from 8-13 November. In observance of this service and media campaign week, seven Reality Shows have been produced in 7 divisions (one in each division) targeting eligible couples with particular focus on FP-MCH issues. Request for submission of recent BCC materials for HPN eToolkit for field workers

Every year the HPN eToolkit ( for field workers is updated with recently produced BCC materials. As part of this activity, Bureau of Health Education (BHE), Institute of Public Health Nutrition (IPHN) of DGHS and Information, Education & Motivation (IEM) Unit of DGFP have circulated letters asking for ​recently produced (July 2013-June 2014) BCC materials (hard and soft copy) to be submitted to the respective units. Bangladesh Health Communication Springboard Kicked-off

A ‘Kick-off Event’ of the Bangladesh Health Communication Springboard got off to a momentous thrust on Thursday May 08, 2014 at a city hotel in Dhaka amid festivity and fervor among the invited guests. About 350 people related to health, population and nutrition sector in Bangladesh participated in this event.
