eHealth Pilot Program for Fieldworkers has launched!

The USAID-funded Knowledge for Health’s (K4Health) Bangladesh Knowlegement Management Initiative officially launched the eHealth pilot program in April in Chittagong and Sylhet Districts. The three-month pilot aims to normalize the use of digitized resources on netbooks by fieldworkers to aid their client-based counseling and supplement their own knowledge.

USAID’s Monica Bautista and Peggy D’Adamo recently visited Bangladesh and attended the launch of the pilot program in Chittagong. In the following blog entry, they reflected on the value of including community-based fieldworkers as a part of the vision of a “Digital Bangladesh”.
