UNICEF in collaboration with Ministry of Industries and MOHFW held a participatory concept development workshop with approximately 26 public, private, development and NGO partners from 23-25 September 2011 in Savar. The purpose of the workshop was to develop a Communication Strategy for Vitamin A fortification through edible oil, Vitamin A supplementation, and micronutrient powder. The Communication Strategy will identify approaches to scale interventions called for in MOHFW’s Anemia and Vitamin A strategies. By applying formative research conducted by UNICEF, key audiences, messages, channels and materials will be identified to promote Vitamin A through fortified edible oil which begins production in

WCD 2011 focuses on encouraging young people to exercise their right to search for accurate, unbiased information about contraception to prevent an unplanned pregnancy or sexually transmitted infection (STI). As a part of its programming, USAID works to ensure millions of people have access to quality contraception.
