World Population Day being Observed

The World Population Day-2019 was observed in Bangladesh like many other countries in the world in a very festive mood on July 11, 2019. The theme of ‘World Population Day-2019’ is ’25 years of ICPD: accelerating the promise’. Numerous activities were taken nationwide to celebrate the day. Among the nationwide initiatives the main attraction of the day was the inaugural session and award giving ceremony at Krishibid Institutions, Khamarbari, Dhaka. 4th Divisional BCC Working Group Meeting Held at Sylhet

4th Divisional BCC Working Group meeting was held at Sylhet on May 05, 2019. A total of 21 participants from Government and NGO those are working in the Sylhet Division participated in the meeting. Divisional Directors both from the health and family planning (representative) departments participated in the meeting. The 27th BCC Working Group Meeting Held

Behavior Change Communication Working Group (BCCWG) in its 27th meeting underscored the importance of GO-NGO collaboration and coordination to maximize resource utilization and program impact. This meeting was held on April 09, 2019 in the conference room of IPHN.  Chaired by Mr. Md. Observance of World Health Day 2019

Like previous, this year also under the guidance of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and Directorate General of Health Services, Bureau of Health Education observed the World Health Day nationwide.  The Day celebrates worldwide in recognition to the foundation of World Health Organization. A new eLearning course on Adolescent Health (AH) available online

The USAID Ujjiban SBCC Project has made available an online eLearning course on Adolescent Health (AH) for Field Workers in health, population and nutrition sector. This is a video-based eLearning course which includes illustrations and animations. The course is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of field workers on Adolescent Health.
