Saving Newborn Lives (SNL) Program of Save the Children has made a major contribution in bringing the issue of newborn survival to national agendas—through identifying interventions to address the major killers of newborns, and through assisting to develop policies and strategies for newborn health and to introduce newborn care initiatives in Bangladesh.
To provide effort on Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) on newborn health, SNL is searching for a suitable candidate who will work closely with SBCC-related issues with different directorates under MOH&FW along with other partners ad the BCC Working Group.

The brief responsibilities of this position are:
· The Manager – SBCC (Social & Behavioral Change Communication) will lead the development and implementation of SBCC strategies for SNL Bangladesh with an objective to improving evidence-based newborn care practices and newborn care seeking behavior at scale to effect newborn survival and wellbeing in Bangladesh.
· S/he will work closely with Directorate General of Health and Directorate General of Family Planning (MOH&FW), UN agencies, development organizations, professional societies and BCC working group to support the development of state-of-the-art SBCC program, documents, materials.
· S/he will conduct focused advocacy and will provide catalytic support to national program for scaling-up of the SBCC initiatives on newborn health.
